Since 2014, the Gwangju Museum of Art has operated an international residency program for exchange artists through cooperation with overseas museums and associated organizations. In September 2017, the museum opened a specialized studio for its international residency program at Jungoe Park, where the main gallery is located. Residency artists include two Gwangju artists (long-term participants for a year) and exchange foreign artists (short-term participants for up to three months) nominated by the museum’s partner organizations.

Open Call
