Art Museum Introduction

The Gwangju Museum of Photography is an exhibition hall that was built to accommodate the characteristics of professionally shot photographs and media art genre. We plan to rent out the hall to other exhibitors or operate the hall for planned exhibitions, permanent exhibitions, educational programs, and professional photographs or video artists. We want to exhibit photographs by young artists and works of art that are challenging and experimental.

Operating Hours

• 10:00～18:00 (last admission: 30 minutes before closing)
• ※ Cultural Event Day (every last Wednesday of the month) 10:00 ~ 20:00, 2-hour extension

Closed Days

• January 1, Lunar New Year’s Day, Chuseok, every Monday
